SPREADSIMS.NET
The powerful technology of SpreadSims reinvents the possibilities of business simulation. SpreadSims now makes it possible for anyone to create and run their own business strategy simulation without any computer programming knowledge in as little as a day. To create a simulation the requirement is only to have a good working
knowledge of Excel and a small knowledge of SpreadSims tools and techniques that are available on this site.
Use an existing sim or develop and share your own with anyone on the Internet. With SpreadSims new possibilities in learning and teaching open up for you. The simulations currently available provide an understanding of a functional area of a business such as marketing, operations, finance, accounting, strategy or management and allow
participants to develop strategic and cross-functional thinking and practice powerfull teamwork. In short, SpreadSims makes you think!
This SpreadSims version is specially customised for the University of Auckland Business School, and has not been released to the general public as yet. Please do not distribute this to others yet since it is for internal use only. It allows teachers to set up classes to use a Sim, assess the learning of their students and even to design, build, test and publish their own Sims.
You need to install the SpreadSims plug-in to Excel to run and build Sims. This has been tested on Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 running under Windows XP and
is available after you register. However, if you have problems we are only supporting the University labs at present, so use these if you need to.

IMPORTANT NOTE
In order to use our site and the SpreadSims technology there are some system requirements.
1.You need the Microsoft .Net 2 environment installed for running our client software. This is often already installed. If you are not sure that your computer has the .Net installed please check in the Control Panel, Add Remove Programs: Microsoft .Net Framework 2.To install this clickhere.
2. You need to install the SpreadSims plug-in to Excel to run and build Sims. This has been tested on Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 running under Windows XP and is available after you register.
